Look, we get it - "Ulvarion Thquinth" sounds like something from a fantasy novel. That's kinda the point though. Back in 2014, our founder was sketching ideas in a cafe and realized that architecture is basically world-building for real life. Buildings aren't just structures, they're the backdrop to everyone's daily story.
We started in a cramped office on Queen West with three people, way too much coffee, and a belief that sustainable design shouldn't feel like you're sacrificing style. Fast forward to today, and we're still on Queen West (bigger space now, thankfully), but that core philosophy hasn't budged an inch.
What drives us? Honestly, it's seeing a kid run through a space we designed, or watching natural light transform a room throughout the day. It's those small moments that remind us why we do this - not just for awards or Instagram likes, but 'cause spaces genuinely shape how people live.

We're a mix of licensed architects, urban planners, sustainability nerds, and design enthusiasts who've worked everywhere from tiny Toronto startups to big international firms. Everyone here chose to be at Ulvarion Thquinth 'cause they wanted to do meaningful work without the corporate nonsense.
Our team's got folks who grew up in Toronto and folks who moved here for the opportunities. We've got parents juggling school pickups with site visits, recent grads bringing fresh perspectives, and veterans who remember when this neighborhood was way different.
What ties us together? A shared belief that buildings should work with nature instead of against it, and that good design shouldn't be a luxury reserved for the ultra-wealthy. Plus, we all appreciate a good lunch spot - crucial for any Queen West studio.

Being on Queen West puts us right in the thick of it - we walk past amazing architecture every day, grab lunch at spots in buildings we admire, and run into clients at local cafes. This neighborhood's taught us a lot about mixing old and new, and that shows up in our work.
